My beloved Miller Sprinter II Tripod has been out of comission for several years in need of a replacement hook where the spreader attaches to the tripod leg.  Despite my best efforts, a replacement remained elusive.  So in the spirit of Making I turned to the lathe and mill to fabricate the needed part.
